Ashtabula Tank Removal

Buckeye Elm Contracting was contracted to remove two 7,500 gallon gasoline USTs. In addition, Buckeye Elm demolished the canopy and removed all piping, dispensers and concrete. The tanks were full of product/contact water and buckeye elm safely removed it, cleaned and purged the tank, and disposed of resulting product/wash water in accordance with all regulations. Buckeye Elm removed the tanks and sent them to recycle. Contaminated soils surrounding the tanks were left in place for future sampling and remediation. After excavation and removal, Buckeye Elm imported, placed, and compacted backfill to surrounding grade. Buckeye Elm coordinated all permits and inspections. This project came in below budget and ahead of schedule.
