An unknown quantity of petroleum products were identified to leak into a detention pond. Emergency procedures were used to isolate the leaked product and contain it to the owner's property. The cattails were removed and placed into a roll off box and sat for a time to allow water and excess fuel to decant off the vegetation and drain back to the pond. After which the pond bottom was remediated, all storm line to the pond were jetted and cleaned.
